Bonne Terre Man Injured in Crash

(Jefferson County, MO) A man from Bonne Terre, 26 year old Mason L. Cords, is suffering serious injuries after he was hurt in traffic accident Saturday morning at 5:55 in Jefferson County. According to Highway Patrol reports a car driven north on Interstate 55, north of  Route Z, by 40 year old James M. Nelson of Barnhart, was disabled from a previous crash and was blocking the center lane of northbound I55. Cords vehicle struck Nelson's car. Cords, who was not wearing a seat belt at the time, was taken to Mercy Hospital South.
