Desloge Chamber Hears MAC Bond Issue

(Desloge, MO) Desloge Chamber of Commerce members are discussing the April election's Mineral Area College no tax increase Bond Issue after Tuesday's monthly chamber luncheon. An Advanced Manufacturing Instructor for the college, Eric Shelton, spoke to the crowd saying a conversion to solar power is one money saving project that would be addressed if voters approve the measure.

According to Shelton the issue would bring in about 22 million dollars. The funds would also be used for certain additional building renovations and teacher salaries. Voter approval would continue the bond which expires in 2025.
