Desloge Election Results Certified

(Desloge, MO) The April elections results are now certified in Desloge and newly elected officials were sworn in at last night's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting. They included Mayor Dave Shaw, Aldermen Terry Cole, Kelly Farkas, and John Wigger. Desloge City Administrator, Dan Bryan, says the newly elected officials will have additional duties with Desloge beyond representing residents.

Improvements to Jackson Street were also discussed at last night's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting. The improvements would include sidewalk, sewer, stormwater work, realigning, and widening the street are all on the list. Bryan says preliminary costs look to show about an $850,000 price tag. The issue will be discussed in a few months when the budget is planned.
