Desloge Firefighters to Receive Hazard Pay

(Desloge, MO) Volunteer firefighters in the City of Desloge are set to receive COVID-19 Hazard Pay. City Administrator, Dan Bryan, says that the firefighters - like the city's police officers, who were approved for hazard pay last month - didn't have the ability to work from home like other city employees. As such, they did their jobs at the risk of being exposed to the Coronavirus.

Bryan says that money, which totals $8,000, will be paid to 12 individuals and it's coming from the Desloge Public Safety Fund.
