Desloge Mayor Still Questioning Trash Fee

(Desloge, MO) Desloge Mayor, Pete Pasternak, is again discussing the city's trash fee with Desloge Aldermen. Pasternak, says he believes he has discovered an ordinance from 1976 that could call into question whether or not they should be collecting a fee for the service.

The trash fees discussion was a part of Monday night's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting. No final decision on whether or not the fee should be collected has been made although according to some reports, the ordinance instituting the tax is not binding meaning the fee is being legally collected.
