Madison County Saturday Afternoon Wreck

(Madison County, MO) A Patton woman, 40 year old Lacy D. Cox, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was hurt in a 2 vehicle wreck in Madison County Saturday afternoon at 2:55. According to Highway Patrol Reports Cox was headed south on Highway OO, 3 and a half miles north of Fredericktown, when a box truck driven north by 28 year old Lacy D. Gardner, of Canalou, Missouri, pulled into the path of Cox's SUV and the two collided. Cox, who was wearing a seat belt during the wreck, was taken to St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Gardner was not injured.
