Major Case Squad Activated in Search

(Potosi, MO) The Mineral Area Major Case Squad is being activated in Washington County, at the request of Sheriff Zach Jacobsen, to assist in the search for a woman from rural Potosi, 44 year old Donna Janine (Cross) Eye. Eye was reported as missing last Thursday, January 11th. Eye is a white female who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans when she went missing. Eye was last seen on, or near, Shirley School Road, near Potosi in Washington County in the early morning hours of Tuesday, January 9th, and was later reported missing on Thursday, January 11th, by a family member. The Mineral Area Major Case Squad has more than a dozen investigators assigned to the investigation.
