Motorcycle Strikes Dog in Washington County

(Washington County, MO) A Potosi man, 40 year old Nicholas D. Dunn, is recovering from moderate injuries after his motorcycle struck a dog in Washington County Wednesday afternoon at 12:40. According to Highway Patrol reports Dunn was headed north at 11024 Highway E, when the dog ran into the path of his motorcycle. It struck the dog and became airborne. Dunn was thrown from the bike. He was wearing a helmet when the wreck happened. Dunn was taken to Washington County Memorial Hospital at Potosi.
