Sharp Arrested in Middlebrook Murder Case

(Middlebrook, MO) A Middlebrook man, 58 year old David Wayne Sharp, is in custody and is charged with Murder in the First Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and the Stealing of a Motor Vehicle in connection to the murder of his brother 65 year old Derl Sharp. No bond is being allowed at this time for Sharp. The homicide took place last week. David Sharp was taken into custody Friday night at a motel in Louisville, Kentucky. Last week Deputies with the Iron County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in the 60 block of Wild Turkey Road at Middlebrook for a deceased person. The body of Derl Sharp was discovered as the victim of an apparent homicide.
