Sheriff's Department Funding Holding Steady

(St. Francois County, MO.) The coronavirus hasn't slowed down the funding for the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department. According to Sheriff Dan Bullock his department runs off a half cent sales tax from the county and that tax has been up slightly.

Bullock explains the sales tax covers salaries, upkeep, and daily running of the facilities. According to Bullock the department will also be applying for funding from the CARES Act.
