St. Francois County Crash Wednesday

(St. Francois County, MO) Two Park Hills residents, an 11 year old female juvenile and 57 year old Joann M. Benscoter, are suffering serious injuries after they were involved in crash with a diesel truck Wednesday morning at 10:40 in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports indicate Benscoter was driving her vehicle south approaching the intersection of Highway 8 and Old Highway 8C. She failed to notice the diesel truck driven east on Highway 8 by 51 year old Heath B. Hooper, of Hannibal and pulled into its path. The two vehicles collided. Hooper was not hurt. The 11 year old girl was flown to St. Louis Children's Hospital while Benscoter was taken to Parkland Health Center at Farmington.
